pro quality digital or entry level P&S cameras?
Pentax has the connections to sell the Wal-Mart & Best Buy
type of chains. What digital products do you mean?

Not much meaning to somebody like me who's' favorite film is K64.
Maybe all the really good film has already been developed?!!

You mean they will no longer be a lens maker, but focus on bodies?

Switch over to digital? I don't know. It is so unsatisfying.
My 35mm Pentax gear takes great images now.
I find myself less and less satisfied with my digital pix for the PUG.
These start out as better images in prints or slides, but degrade.
The scans, even when done professionally to a photo CD, are weak.
The final result just doesn't have the same qualities as the original.
Digital imaging is starting to leave me cold...
So do you want me to be loyal and buy a Pentax digital P&S?
Sure, that's fine for a little fun camera... One per household!
Now why would I buy anything else?
I think most of us are with Pentax for the quality pictures
produced by Pentax lenses.
