Hi Bruce, I find this a somewhat odd photo. I don't see the Norman Rockell comparison except as it being a scene from contemporary life, and that's even a bit of a stretch for me. That the woman is wearing short-ish jeans and warm boots is interesting, and gave me a little chuckle.
You certainly got a good exposure - none of the snow appears to be burnt out, yet you've maintained good detail in the dark areas of the scene.
