Thanks for that Ken. Our public health system is similar. You can medical treatment "free" but the waiting lists are long for elective procedures (joint replacements etc.).
But, if you can afford private health insurance, you can basically pick your doctor & private hospital if needs be. Which raises another question, how expensive is private health insurance?
