It may be the subject or the filter, but,,, I shot an old barn yesterday, with a recently purchased Polorizer filter. It will be a Peso later to day i hope.:-)
When i zoomed in on the silo, the side of it had really bad colour noise on the sunnier side of it. Some not so bad in the blue of the sky. No matter what exp comp i used the shots were all ubder exposed here. It really changed when i adjusted levels and sharpened it. Thats when i noticed the noise, actually. I looked at a shot with out the filter and the noise is there in the same spots, but way less noticable. I went back and looked at pictures over the holidays, churches, squirrels etc, and the noise is not evident. Any thouhts. Could it be the texture of the concrete slates on the silo and the filter makes it worse. I'm curious because my previous pictures all seem fine. Oh lens used was 16-45 F4.
