The GFM event happens to be during the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina. It's actual dates are from May 25-June 10. Spoleto Festival is a celebration of performing arts, in which one can enjoy chamber music, opera, plays, and dance performances, just to name a few. If you can and are willing to sneak in your camera, some of the scenery, costumes, and lighting designs for these performances are absolutely stunning. (just don't flash!) I worked for Spoleto Festival last summer, and the scale of the productions is simply staggering. I would suggest that if anyone has the time, money or interest, you go to see at least one show during this festival. There seems to be something for everyone. I actually live in Charleston if anyone has need of traveling information (where to eat, shop, stay, or park your car).
