Hello Paul, I'm not quite sure how to take your post, so I will try not to read anything into it.
You may recall that I started this series with the following comment: "One of the things I want to do this year is to photograph the areas in which I live and frequent, making photos of the things that may be interesting, unusual, or that in some way reflect the culture and the atmosphere of the area. I don't expect great social commentaries, or for the pics to always be well composed, artistic images, but, rather, just a few glimpses of the things around the area that night reflect the sensibilities of the people living and working in these neighborhoods." IOW, the pic is a document of something in the area that I saw that seemed worthy of documenting. Transforming and heavy manipulation are out of the question for these pics. They are what they are and that's all that they are ... As for the meaning, well, that's up to the individual of course, although I have found some meaning in the image.
