If you are unhappy with the alternatives available from Pentax, go to Katz Eye Optics http://www.katzeyeoptics.com and have them make a screen that suits you better. Available patterns are http://www.katzeyeoptics.com/page--Custom-Grid-Crop-Lines-- gridlines.html I have the LL-60 and I don't like all the fussy AF brackets, circles and lines overlaid on the grid. Personally, I would rather have the simple "crosshair" reticle and 8x10 format crop lines, with no focusing aid, like I had made for the DS in a custom screen: http://homepage.mac.com/godders/custom-focus-screen-DS.jpg Pentax' own LI-80 would do ok too: http://www.pentaxslr.com/accessories Just something to line up horizontals and verticles with, and prevent converging parallels.
