Hi Mark I got a Voigtlaender Bessamatic SLR with a zoom and a prime for free but it was way too heavy for me to use it. And I prefer the look and build feeling of the 1959 Agfa Ambiflex SLR with 35mm prime over it, it's the only old camera I have left and will use sometimes. greetings Markus

It's a little magical to break out the prints and see what came of your efforts. By the way, if you want the best deal in a 1950's rangefinder, the Vitessa is it. It feels like it was carved from a single chunk of metal, has pretty good ergonomics for an old camera, and the 50mm f/3.5 Skopar lens on mine produces very sharp pictures. They say the f/2.0 Ultron is even better--as good as or better than the contemporary Summicrons. Vitessas seem to go for between $100 and $200 if they're really clean.
