With the Epson P2000, one full charge will generally transfer about 12-13 full 1G cards worth of data if you don't spend your time doing a lot of reviewing. I had it with me on my UK trips two years in a row now ... on this last one, backing up 1600 PEF files from the *ist DS over a three week trip, I recharged it once about midway through the trip.
