Zoiks! Does it really move that much in 8 seconds? I was doing 1/2 second exposures at about f5.6... oh, wait, I was at ISO 200 and wasn't using a teleconverter so maybe that's it. I would suggest (besides the better location without the powerlines) bumping your ISO up just a smidge and you should be able to catch it without it streaking across the frame like that. I am jealous that it looks a lot sharper than what I got.
