Nice capture. It looks like a lens I wouldn't be using very often. Kenneth Waller

(I've got to try to figure out what to do for the PUG if anything). Even an all glass lens can have soft corners and edges with lots and lots of CA. I shot this last summer with my Sigma, (I can't remember off hand the actual name on the lens, but these 12mm semi circular fisheye lenses with Waterhouse stops, were all made in the 1960s by Sigma). 12mm F8 fisheye. It makes a FF fisheye ~180° corner to corner, on the APS sensor with just a little light fall off. I'd like to think it captures the sweet spot in the image circle, but the sensor would have to be a lot smaller for that to be true. http://www.mindspring.com/~morephotos/PESO_--fisheyeontherocks.html Technical Info: Pentax *ist-Ds w/12mm f8 Fisheye @ (probably) f11 (with this lens it's probably best to not ask too many questions). As usual comments are welcome but may be totally ignored. -- The more I know of men, the more I like my dog. -- Anne Louise Germaine de Stael -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
