Thanks for the comments, Paul, Brian and Jack. This was the one really good frame from four days where the weather just refused to cooperate. I agree that it was probably the red filter that made the difference in this shot. I spent extra for a really good SMC coated red since I knew it would get used a lot. I could see the clouds pop out just by holding it in front of the lens.
