This question was posed on another list, and I thought I'd toss it out
here as well, especially since there may be more frequent and complete
inspections in the near future. It's been reported that some
inspectors have even removed lenses from camera bodies, removed the
lens caps, and looked through the lenses, as well as opening the backs
of cameras, etc.:
