We went through this once before. What is incorrectly called a robin in North America is not related to the real robin of UK and Europe. Our "robins" are correctly called Migratory Thrush. Getting people to use the correct name has been just about impossible. Regardless of what they're called, there ain't any of them here in the VA mountains in the winter.
