Sending it to Pentax is probably the best solution. You could try the Kinetronics Specgrabber - its a bit of sticky stuff on the end of a long pen like instrument. Tap the spec with it and it should stick to the grabber. I bought one only to realized that it was the rare spec that I could actually see...
