Yes, it has been. About 250 km from here. 

>From the top of my head it is about 700 tons of oil. That's not a lot, but
it has leaked near one of our important bird reservations. The weather has
been bad in the area. So the high tech ship that should take care of it was
not able to do the job. 

At the moment nobody knows the consequences. All we know is that some birds
are hurt badly, but we have no idea how many. Looking at the pictures of the
area makes me sad. 

I have good news too. We have about two inches of snow outside, and the
light is not bad. I'm at work now, and will be till the light is gone, but
guess what I'm doing tomorrow. 
First I'm going to make some wide angle shots of my house, and then I'm
going to my Birdland. If I'm lucky I will be able to shoot some birds I
haven't shot yet. :-)
