Mike:
I actually live in Charleston, South Carolina right now.  It's lovely - it 
has beaches, the intercoastal waterways, and grand old buildings to 
photograph.  I'm glad you got away from the rattlesnake at Big Bend - did 
you manage to snap a picture?  I personally dropped a camera downon of the 
mountains/large hills.  Somehow, it survived, and still takes decent photos 
for a point-and-shoot.
I'd love to take our conversation off-list so as to not clutter up
