As I wrote earlier this week, my istDs does have about 5 always lit 
pixels (or maybe it's just one, but then very hot :-)). While I 
certainly can't say I like it, I'd be much more worried if I found for 
example viewfinder to be misaligned.

me neither. But hot pixel on the screen attract your attention, while 
hot pixel on sensor just disappears in the process. Also there's no 
guarantee that formerly immaculate sensor won't develop one or more bad 
pixels after a while. Forget about it and go take some pics. ;-)
