I picked up an inexpensive but reasonably sturdy copy stand at a local store for about $90 two/three years ago. It does the job. I use a couple of flat-panel light boxes, propped in place with tape and pieces of cardboard, for lighting. (I already had the light boxes: they work very well for this.)
