Hard to say, Mark. I htink I'm getting at what you are trying to convey 
here - the brooding deep ancient tree with clinging vines - like the 
true roots of civilizations with ephemera sticks onto it that ultimately 
becomes part of it.

Definitely not an image that works well at web size - which of course 
means nothing since web size is the equivalent of a 4 x6 at best.

I'd probably try to play with the tonal ranges to boost the contrast 
without blowing out that one patch of sky at the top. Maybe play with 
the curves tool a bit or create a second layer, lighten it up, and get 
creative with the blending and transparency.
