Just got back from Rochester. Spent a couple of days there seeing old friends. Saw my friend from the George Eastman House, but didn't talk photography. Didn't get to chat with Kodak people working on sensors but I did hear about a new inkjet printer that's going to be announced in about a week. It's a letter-size (A4), pigment-ink photo printer that they hope/expect to really shake up the market. The "per-print" cost of ownership is supposedly astonishingly low. My source referred to it as "disruptive" pricing, meaning that it's likely to caused hurried meetings at Epson/HP/Canon that day after it's announced.
Might be interesting. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
