K10D is dust protected... I hope humidity is not gonna kill it easily. My *istD lasted two years without any signs of deterioration that I could notice. If it sets your mind at ease, I habitually take my K10 from -20 outside to +20 inside temperatures withput bagging it first. So far, so good.
