Good point, William. I better have Pentax take a good look at it.
Alos the CF card release button is loose (it fals out once in a while).
Quite annoying actaully - some day, I'll probably loose it for good....

I saw a website a while back that dealt with adjusting the AF sensor
position in the istD, but I didn't bookmark it.
I recall the adjustment itself was pretty simple, take off the bottom cover
and there are 3 screws for position adjust.
Anyway, I don't expect Pentax would charge overmuch to adjust it, and
honestly, with the number of shots you have on that camera, a CLA might not
be a bad idea.
