When I was in Albuquerque it was in glorious fall color. Where Arizona had few trees, and Tucson had only one variety of tree that I could tell (along with some palms and overgrown bushes), New Mexico had a much larger variety of trees. The Rio Grande runs through the state and through Albuquerque. The dearth of foliage in Arizona had been rather depressing, so I was very happy to see more trees.
There were two main varieties that were in fall color -- one was in yellow/gold, and one orange. They were all over Albuquerque making the city very pretty in spots. I caught this out of a car window, it's an on the fly shot, but the more I look at it the more I like it. Not sure what kind of trees these are but it was one of the two main colorful varieties. If I ever print it, I'll clone out the street light. http://members.aol.com/eactivist/PAWS/pages/color.htm Makes me think of Albuquerque in the fall -- an exuberance of color. Comments, welcome. Also, do you think it is worth a print? Marnie aka Doe :-) -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
