Perhaps I'll try that out soon. :) Specifically, the *ist doesn't like to auto focus this lens. I'd read about people thinking the motor was a bit on the weak side, but this was my first experience with very, very slooow auto focus. It also doesn't balance well with the *ist. There are some remarks over at Stan's site about folks not liking this lens on MZ bodies for that very reason. The PZ-1 likes it, though! And that's all that matters.
