I dont understand, current DA lenses wont work on
FF cameras. I think you are not understanding what
FF/DA is all about. The reason DA lenses can work
better on APS digital cameras is they are optimized
for APS only & digital format. There is no conclusive evidence
(yet that I have seen) that any or all FF Pentax PK lenses ever made
will not match or outperform the current APS/DA lens combination
on FF digital. It sounds to me, based on your comments,
that you think you would have to have all brand new, FF lenses
to get high performance (APS/DA beating) out of a new FF pentax DSLR
and I dont believe this will be the case at all.

No.

If Pentax were to go to a larger sensor tomorrow, I'd weigh whether I
needed it and what lenses I'd need to support it. Then buy them if I
felt there was an advantage.

The K10D and *ist DS would still be working so I wouldn't be 'stranded'.

All the DA lenses I've purchased have performed the same or better
than the older series lenses they replaced and fully supported the
cameras I've chosen. So I only want current lenses.
