- Battery life per charge: around 1000 frames.

- Don't be scared by RAW. Set the camera to the DNG format, get  
yourself a copy of Adobe Lightroom (the v4.1 Beta is still available  
from http://labs.adobe.com, the v1.0 release with LOTs more features  
and improved capabilities ships in 15 days and will sell for $199 ...  
WELL worth it IMO ...). Have fun ... same tools to edit as with JPEGs  
but much better quality.

The K10D is a great camera.
