I guess you guys didnt read the whole thread, a poster stated
he was thinking of trading a FA lens for a DA lens and if he
did that then when the FF bodies came out and he wanted to 
use them fully, he would be "stranded" with all his FA to DA trades 
compared to if he didnt make those kind of trades.

Of course. All this talk of being "stranded" is silly. Did any 35mm 
users feel stranded when the Pentax 67 was introduced? Or the 645? 

BTW: Canon is rumored to be considering a new lens mount for the 
(supposedly 22-megapixel) 1Ds-III.
