Yes, Micah. Tamron 28-75 is constant f2.8 throughout the range.

Although there is certain sample variation in Tamron lenses as well, my 
sample is extremely good. I get pretty sharp (like in very sharp) 
pictures even wide open. This is my common walk-around lens (thanks Tim 
for piece of excellent advise).
