thanks for your kind and encouraging comments. I am glad you liked it as 
it's something completely new for me. Responses to some individual 
comments are below:

Jack, I have no style yet, as I said I've been just playing with the 
pictures. Something like: this one doesn't look very interesting in 
color, let's try B&W - start with the red filter to darken the sky - 
still lacks contrast so add some vigneting - even more vigneting - oops, 
too contrasty = blown up highlights - too lazy to start from the scratch 
so add some grain to mask it instead...  ;-)

Rick, the display on my notebook is not well suited for this task. Well, 
I can distinguish whole gray scale but I have to look at the screen from 
precisely defined angle.
