I'd forgotten to include the technical details, for those who are interested: Pentax *ist-D, Sigma 18-35/3.5-4.5 at 18mm and f4.5, 1/60sec @ 200ASA. Levels adjusted, cropped and perspective corrected, USM at 100%, radius 1 and threshold 0: shadows lightened by 20% and highlights cut back by 12% in Version A.
