The opposite is actually true, due to the still healthy sales of disposables. Most E6 labs have shut down. Not being in the business anymore, I don't have access to the numbers, but I still talk to the people at my old lab. They can't tell me exactly what volumes are like now for confidentiality reasons, but I was allowed to believe that film processing is somewhere around 1/3 of what it was 2 years ago coming off the Christmas season.
