nice, intriguing shot. I've tried to straighten verticals in the Photoshop and it didn't work for me - your v[i/er]sion is perfect. WRT sharpness & tonality - I like it as is (as seen on my notebook's uncalibrated display that is - nevertheless for example the gray scales on the page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grayscale look quite good on it and I can easily distinguish every two adjacent patches of gray. OTOH the colors appear muted, but in this case it's not relevant and generally I prefer subdued, more life-like color rendering anyway).
