A day late because I was shooting a charity dinner last night. I won some
SF Giants tickets in the silent auction. :D

I've decided to follow Godfrey's example and sell off lenses that I rarely
(if ever) use these days, in an attempt to buy a new DA Limited lens.
Starting with the flash, and then lenses from best to less-best.

Photos available upon request.

1.: Promaster FTD 7000M for Pentax - $100 obo
This flash is Promaster's top-of-the-line TTL dedicated film camera
flash. It was made for film cameras, but works on digital (in full manual
mode). The unit is in mint condition, and I tested it to make sure it still
works. It has a zoom head and full output controls, including strobe (which
none of the Pentax flashes have). One nice feature of this flash is the
second flash bulb built into its body. You can bounce the main flash off
the ceiling, for instance, and use the smaller flash as fill. I used this
feature quite a bit. For more specs, click the following link:

1.5.: Pentax M42-to-K mount adapter - $20
This is the real thing. Don't bother with cheap knockoffs that don't
work the way they're supposed to. If you buy this with one of the M42
lenses below, I'll drop the price to $15.

2.: Pentax M42 Super-Multi-Coated TAKUMAR 135mm f2.5 (w/ original caps, hood
and case)- $117 obo
This lens is nearly flawless. The glass is crystal-clear, and doesn't
have any of that weird yellowing that is common to some Pentax lenses of its
era. The body shows some very minor paint wear on the focusing ring and
aperture ring, but otherwise is in excellent condition. I saw a handful of
examples of this lens at my last job, and none came close to this unit in
condition. The caps, hood and leather case are all original, though the
case has lots of cracking and is pretty greyed from age (no strap included).

3.: Pentax M42 Fish-eye-Takumar 18mm f11 - $297 (rare collector's item)
This is Pentax's original pancake lens, and it's RARE. Glass is minty,
body is excellent, with a couple nicks on the back (not near the glass,
thankfully). The guy I got this from had no idea what it was. Definitely a
fun lens to use. Comes with original leather case and rear cap, and
"Komura" slip-on front cap (it's the only one I could find that would fit!).

4.: SMC Pentax-M 50mm 1.4 with hood - $57 (obo)
This lens is in excellent exterior condition. The glass is scratch-free
but has some minor dust under the first element (does not affect images). I
used this lens for a few years with my MX and *istD, and even shot a couple
concerts with it. It's a fantastic performer. Hood is Pentax-brand, but
may not be the original that came with the lens. Caps are not original, and
front cap has a cap-keeper strap on it.

5.: SMC Pentax-A 28mm 2.8 with hood - $47 (obo)
The body of this lens is near-mint, and the optics are scratch-free, but
there is a decent amount of dust inside the main element. It may be
possible to open the lens and clean it, but I don't want to risk the
operation myself, as I already ruined an old 40mm trying to clean it. The
hood and rear cap are by Pentax, but may not be original. The front cap is
not original.

6.: Pentax M42 Super-Multi-Coated TAKUMAR 200mm f4 - $87 (obo)
This lens has some minor dust inside the rear element, but otherwise is
in very good optical condition. Body is in very good condition as well,
with some small nicks and minor wear here and there. Comes with original
front cap and generic rear cap.

7.: SMC Pentax 35-70mm f2.8 (Pentax's FIRST AF lens, collector's item) -
$175 (obo)
This lens is pretty rare. However, there's some dust inside the front
and rear elements. This may be easily cleaned, but I don't want to risk it
myself. Also, I haven't been able to find an ME-F to test the lens'
autofocus. Otherwise, lens body is near-mint, with some scuff marks on the
front of the motor housing. The battery contacts are clean, with no signs
of battery corrosion. Can't find a front cap for it, and the rear cap is
non-original.

8.: Pentax M42 Tele-Takumar 200mm f5.6 - $47 (obo)
Found this in the attic at my last job. Lens is clean on the inside,
but rear element has two tiny specks in the coating at the very edge of the
lens (they don't appear to affect image quality). Body has the usual minor
wear marks. Comes with original hood and rear cap, couldn't find a front
cap.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I can ship UPS from my
new job, so please give me something other than a PO Box for your address
and I can do it that way, to save you a few bucks.

If anyone wants to buy them all, I'll do $727 (that's a savings of $218)

PayPal preferred, but will accept cashier's checks. No personal checks,
please.

Thanks,
John
