there has been discussion on this list before about this lens. I can't remember whether it is just speculation or whether people have hard evidence for it, but the K 28/2 was said to be a joint development with Carl Zeiss. Certainly it is very like modern CZ lenses in its looks, and rather different from other K lenses in the gnurly part of the focus ring, if I remember correctly. It feels like a CZ to me, and is very similar in shape and feel to the CZ 21/2.8 that I have. It was one of my favourite lenses.
