My point is that its NOT just me who doesnt agree with you, its the entire SLR camera industry. Stopped down lenses are always harder to focus accurately than wide open ones. And the point you make here is not really making any sense either, if you use FAST lenses, how can you be rarely shooting more than 2 stops down? that is contradictory, because the faster your lenses, the more often you will be needing to shoot more than 2 stops down, especially in daylight. jco
