Thanks Ann and Godfrey. And thanks for those thoughts Mark. This was an image that left me perplexed, and unsure of it's merit. I knew I liked it, but the image itself is so basic, so simple, that I was unsure of a wider appeal.
As I check my raw file, though I see that I did do a slight crop. There was a tiny bit of tree top encroaching into the frame at the bottom (surely outside of viewfinder) that needed removed. I then did a similar proportion crop on the horizontal.
