While in Manhattan with my sister this past Sunday we happened to be
in the area of B&H (okay, maybe it was within a mile.) With my sister's
trip to England next month I decided it was the perfect time to get her an
early Christmas present and purchase a 35mm P&S.

Anyhow, with what she wanted and her trying out of the cameras she
ended up with an Olympus (shudder ;-) ) The Pentaxes she saw were too big.
But I digress.

Since I was there, I decided to see what they had in the way of used
wide angle Pentax lenses. When I got to the counter I placed my MZ-S with
the 77 Limited attached on the counter so it would not be banging against
it. The sales clerk had to have a look at it. He called to the associate
next to him to look at it - his coworker looked up and asked if it was the
latest NIKON :-). I told him about the 77 and let him handle it in MF mode.
He was amazed at how well it handled for an autofocus lens. I just
smiled.... He seemed impressed with it all. He even smiled when he noticed
the metal lens cap.

Planting the Pentax seeds where I can,
