At last I've been able to fondle the new toy. To make it short, I'm exited to the extent that I've placed my order. So hopefully I will join the K-club within a week :-)
Didn't have much time, but it felt very responsive, viewfinder seemed marginally better than DS. Overall I liked what I saw and felt. I discovered only one downer, the grip was slightly smaller than at the DS, so at first it felt a bit strange in my hand. I'm not sure if this is a disadvantage. It kind of invited me to hold more correctly, leaning more of the camera weight on the left hand. If I'm right about this it may make me a steadier shooter. Haven't ordered the grip yet, but most likely I will. I tried that too, and I realised it is helpful also when holding the camera horizontal. It gave me more of that leaning weight in the left hand effect.
