I have to jump in here ( I usually just listen and learn).

I have a 200/f4 ( old model) that I have used on my 6x7 for the last decade.
I also have 3 other lens to compare with ( 55/4, 90/2.8, 135/4). I have
mostly positive things to say about the 200. Taking scenic pics...with the
camera mounted on a SOLID tripod....and using mirror lockup....and if I do
my part....the 200 will produce very good results. And the color and
contrast is right alongside my other Pentax lens.

At f/4 it leaves some to be desired...but it will get the shot done for you.

At any event....the Pentax 6x7 system, using any of the lens I have
mentioned (and I suspect most any other of the 6x7 lens) will provide
excellent results....in my opinion a clear step above the best of the 35
stuff I have been associated with.

I use my 35 system as my basic camera system (to include an lx and K85/1.8
combination to be my favorite). I take more pictures with the 35 because
the convience provides more opportunities...but with those shots where
either camera can be a choice....the Pentax 6x7 with any of the lens I have
will stand head and shoulders above anything I can take with my 35 system.

My opinions anyways
