I checked my Quantum Battery Two voltage tonight. I just unscrewed
the connector from the bottom of my AF 400T, and plugged the cable
into the battery. It's delivering a straight nine volts. I don't know
much about electronics, but that says to me that any transformer
circuitry has to be in the flash. I believe Brendan reported here
that the Pentax TR Power Pack III dedicated battery outputs something
like 360 volts DC. So I'm guessing that the Battery Two is not
likely to be compatible with the 540 flash. I assume Quantum would
have to produced a module control device to make it work???
