For one thing, the K10D does put Pentax back into everyone's radar screen so its users are sticking their heads up high. Here we have the Digital Photographer Philippines forum (http://www.digitalphotographers.com.ph) where there are sections for Canon, Nikon, et. al. Pentax is classified under "others" :-\
