I have an x-ray proof box, that works fine. Can't you persuade the dealer to
ship in x-ray proof package. I may even send a box ahead.
These days these boxes can be purchased quite cheaply.
So you are from the Philippines - just like my new Pentax camera :-)

Emne: X-Ray & Film Parcels

I mentioned in another thread that I'm back to shooting film for
personal fun (and occassionally when I convince a client that film
works as well as digital...).

My problem now is that what is commercially available is reduced to
the consumer films (Kodak 100/400 or the Fuji Superia 100/400). There
are still a lot of Kodak ProImage/Profoto or the Fuji ProPlus
professional films but the local dealers here in the Philippines no
longer stock on Supras or Fuji Realas which I really like. So I'm
thinking ordering abroad...

Question is, do they x-ray parcels?

I also thought of asking friends to buy some for me but with the
paranoia, I know that both hand-carried and checked in stuff are
x-rayed (no I never really trusted those x-ray proof bags).
