An idea just attacked my brain (poor brain) which is the following: The current speculation is that the dual AF system won't necessarily be present in next DA*, there's of course no commitment at all to this Dual AF.
Now, if Pentax wanna get rid of the screwdriver AF in those tele lens (200/2.8 etc) and let only SDM system, would Pentax be wise to market them as DFA*? It would be stupid and probably badly received. They'd better lmarket them as DA* (the loss of "old" AF would be acceptable, not that it is any good of course) and ley(s cut the aprture ring BTW, saving costs. Just my 2 cents.
