Shot this last Sunday. Man the wind was cold.:-)

This is an abandoned Mennonite Church, built around 1860's. Back in
the early 70's the government of Canada expropriated a huge amount of
land, to build an airport East of Toronto. Public expression was
great, and the deal cancelled, however non of the land owners got the
property back. Many houses and buildings were boarded up or rented
out. Many have been contemned since and will be torn down.
Last services were held in 1974.

I hate to admit this, but i was invloved wth the survey of the lands,
but was glad the airport was shut down.

Submitting this as a sad state of affairs in southern Ontario.

Enjoy.

K10D, Zenitar 16mm f2.8 dng converted to tiff, auto levels and
sharpened.I now the big headstone is a distraction, but i'll go back
for a resoot soon. Not a lot of places to shoot this with out crap in
the way.

Huh. Interesting shot. But my feeling is it's not as good as it could be.
Another angle, or closer or something would be a bit more intriguing I would
bet. But interesting.
