Wow, flashback ... I spent a long weekend in Kyoto about a decade and a half ago and had a room in a little hotel right near this site. I seem to recall there was a small river or stream behind the hotel. Kiyomizu-dera was one of my favorite places to visit while I was there.
Neat shot. I wouldn't crop much but the left side is too hot and needs to be pushed down a bit to level things out.
