Hi Nick,
Yep, that's what I've been doing. After the reboot, I'm able to select English 
as the language, click on the"Agree": bos and watch the computer start checking 
the DVD. It never gets beyond 8%. I've tried skipping the check of the DVD, 
then it stops at the next screen. When it stops, the screen greys out and a 
black box appears that says I have to restart the computer.
