I haven't purchased from buydig recently, but I got my first camera
from them in 2000 and returned in early 2004 to get the D.

In the four years, the only thing that had changed was the addition of
a stupid policy to get me to call in and confirm I was me. When I
called in, I ended up in voice mail and they never called back. When I
called them again they said my order had already been sent out. I
don't know if that policy is still in place, but it won't stop me from
doing business with them if their prices are still lower. I was a bit
nervous that it might have been some sort of bait and switch
technique, but no, it was just stupid.

So I was a bit curious to hear that they were "trying to improve their
image". I don't have any problems with their image.

Anyhow, they aren't expensive but in the few occasions that I have
done a price check, they usually aren't the cheapest either. I think
dell has usually ended up cheaper but then you have to wait and wait
and wait for it to be sent to you.
