I am betting that 15 May will be the actual release date. I think they are following the same strategy as with the K10D - delaying from the original release date as they realize the high demand they will face. As with the K10D, I think the prices are about $500 under anybody's most optimistic estimates, and the lenses are going to be a major best seller.
