Some brief PUG comments from me... I thought it was an outstanding gallery, but my time is limited so some brief comments on the ones that jumped out at me...
Trees and Hills -- Harald Rust No surprise I liked this one, I usually love Harald's stuff. And he wisely never seems to post on PDML. :-) Too busy shooting, I guess. Lovely layering and layering not just of textures, but also tones and shapes. Vase - Peter McIntosh I very rarely shoot very ordinary things. But this is great, the reflection makes it an intriguing abstract. Makes me rethink shooting ordinary things. Beauty Sleep - Hank Terhell This made me chuckle. What an unusual shot and angle. And, BTW, just what are those things? Rabbits? X - Gianfranco Irlanda Great low shot, what an eye to spot that that rail could tie the whole pic together and make a good vanishing line. A different take on street photography. :-) Boats on Ganges - Suvro Datta I like the composition, but basically I just like the dreaminess of this one. Silhouettes and soft light, looks like early morning or something. I can almost hear the water lapping. Waiting for Summer - Paul Stenquist Well, it's Grace, so she's cute. :-) But she does also look wistful and the reflection on the window does hint of things to come. Glorious Strangers - Ann Sanfedele Great juxtaposition of graffiti. And trust that you, Ann, would spot the sign that pulls all those graffiti into an overall theme.
